Business Classes

Course Offerings Overview

These courses have been created from a contractor’s point of view to instruct participants new to the industry and experienced in irrigation how to be more proficient working and managing their business.

Classes are half day (8am – Noon), or one day (8am to Noon and 1pm to 5pm). The design class is two days in length. The half-day classes do not include lunch. The one-day classes include lunch. Classes are listed by module typically from easiest to hardest. Learning is achieved through the use of power point slide presentations and/or hands on demonstration and practice. A minimum class size of 10 participants is required with a maximum of 20. Some courses are available in English and Spanish. New: Rain Day Onsite Training is available for companies that desire in-season training (se details below).

Further information will be provided upon registering for the classes. A 10% discount applies if all irrigation and/or all business classes are taken. Contact us for further information.

Custom In-House Training Program

It is so expensive to send staff off for training. So we have created a mobile training school that will come to you, saving you all that travel, meal and accommodation expense.

Customize your very own in-house training program to meet your specific needs.
We can present the classes listed under the School of Irrigation, Other Classes, and our Business Classes. We can offer portions of each class for an over all background knowledge of irrigation and or business. If you do not see exactly what you are looking for, let us know so we can create it for you.

Rainy Day On-site Training

We all wish that we could take advantage of a rain day. The staff shows up and it’s to wet to send them out to work. Now you are faced with having to pay them for showing up. Why not take advantage and turn the day into a training day? With very short notice one of our trainers can be on-site putting your staff through any of the 4-hour educational modules listed above. Not only does this make a rain day loss a company gain, but also your staff will be that much better at their job when they can get back to work.
